RobloxHub is a static site with no accounts and no forms that collect personal information. Three kinds of data exist here: local data stored on your own device, server logs written by the web server that delivers these pages, and measurement or advertising data handled by third-party vendors. All three are described below.
Local storage
The site uses your browser's local storage for two things only: your light/dark theme, and your answer to the analytics question below. Neither ever leaves your device, and neither is readable by anyone but your browser. You can clear both at any time through your browser's site-data controls — doing so also makes the analytics banner ask again.
Hosting and server logs
These pages are served from a Microsoft IIS web server run by the site's operator, not from a third-party hosting platform. Like any web server it writes request logs, which contain your IP address, the page requested, a timestamp, your browser's user-agent string, and the referring page if there was one. Those logs exist for security and troubleshooting, are not combined with anything else, are not sold or shared, and are not used to build a profile of you. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the request for the font file; no other third party is involved in delivering the page itself.
Analytics
RobloxHub uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-P01L7LHW6P) to see which pages get visited, with IP anonymization on. It runs under Consent Mode v2, and every storage type starts denied:
analytics_storageis denied until you accept in the banner shown on your first visit. While it is denied, Google Analytics runs cookieless: no_gacookie is written and no identifier is stored on your device. Choose Decline and it stays that way; the banner does not come back.- The advertising signals (
ad_storage,ad_user_data,ad_personalization) are denied by default and stay denied unless a consent management platform updates them once advertising is live — see below.
Your answer is kept in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie and not on our side. To change it, clear this site's data in your browser and the question is asked again. Measurement data is used in aggregate only — we do not attempt to identify individual visitors. To opt out of Google Analytics everywhere, install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on; blocking third-party cookies in your browser also stops measurement here.
Cookies and third-party advertising
No advertising scripts load on this site today: no AdSense code, no ad tags, nothing. RobloxHub is set up to show Google AdSense advertising later, and its ads.txt file names the Google publisher ID that would be authorised to serve ads here. If and when ads go live here, the following applies:
- Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
- Google may use the DoubleClick DART cookie to serve ads to our visitors. Read more about how Google uses cookies in advertising, and how to opt out, in Google's Ads Privacy & Terms.
- Other third-party advertising vendors and ad networks may also use cookies and similar technologies to deliver and measure advertising. Those vendors disclose their own data-handling practices in their privacy policies.
Opting out of personalized advertising
You can opt out of Google's use of cookies for personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and out of other vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. EU residents can additionally use youronlinechoices.com. Blocking third-party cookies in your browser prevents advertising cookies entirely; ads, where shown, would then be non-personalized.
Consent for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
Two separate consents, and neither is assumed. Analytics: analytics_storage is denied for everyone, everywhere, until you accept in the banner described above — nothing is written to your device before you answer. Advertising: no personalised advertising cookies are set on this site today, because no advertising code loads at all. Before any advertising serves to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, a Google-certified consent management platform (Google Funding Choices) will ask your permission first and let you change your choices at any time. Until that is in place, ads do not run here.
Your privacy rights (GDPR & CCPA)
Depending on where you live — including the EEA and UK under the GDPR and California under the CCPA — you have rights over personal data, including:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data held about you.
- Correction — have inaccurate data corrected.
- Deletion — have your personal data deleted.
- Objection and restriction — object to or restrict certain processing.
- Portability — receive data you provided in a machine-readable format.
- Opt out of sale or sharing (CCPA) — we do not sell personal information; the advertising opt-outs above cover cross-context sharing by ad vendors.
- Non-discrimination — exercising these rights never changes how the site works for you.
RobloxHub has no accounts and stores no personal data on our side, so most requests are satisfied by clearing your browser's site data and using the opt-outs above. Data collected by third-party vendors such as Google is controlled by those vendors — their privacy policies explain how to exercise these rights with them directly. Children and a mixed audience
Roblox's player base spans every age group, and it would be dishonest to claim that nobody under 13 reads a site explaining Roblox. RobloxHub is written for a mixed audience: parents and carers, teen and adult players, and — on the simpler basics and safety guides — readers who may well be younger. It is not a site directed at children in the sense the FTC and Google use the term: it is text-only reference material with no games, animation, characters, interactivity, sign-ups, or in-app purchases, and its subject is how a platform works rather than entertainment aimed at kids.
What that means in practice:
- No personal information is collected from anyone, of any age. There are no accounts, no forms, no comments, no newsletter, and no uploads. There is nothing here for a child to hand over, and nothing is knowingly collected from a child under 13. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information through this site, email hello@robloxhub.net and it will be deleted.
- Advertising, when it starts, is treated accordingly. Ad requests from this site will be marked as directed to a mixed audience, with personalised advertising and remarketing switched off — the tag-for-child-directed-treatment and restricted-data-processing settings — on the pages whose subject matter is most likely to draw younger readers. Ads shown under that treatment are not personalised on the basis of a reader's behaviour, and advertising for age-restricted categories is not permitted anywhere on the site.
- Safety content is written for whoever is reading it. Some guides address a parent, some address the player directly. The about page sets out that split.
